CHESTER SQUARE

This grand London house was in a poor state of repair and was found in an un-inhabitable condition. The brief was to restore and reinstate its historical features, many of which remained in place, whilst turning it into an expansive home for the 21st C.

The project included the infilling of the light-well between main house and mews with walk on glass floors and cantilevered glass steps to improve the circulation between mews and main house, whilst allowing light to still travel down to basement level to the newly created spa room in what was an old coal shed.
