Kids Academy is an interactive educational centre to learn driving and road safety. The site itself sits within both the Green Belt and the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, making it particularly sensitive, especially to new development.

We developed a feasibility study in conjunction with the conceptual design for the Kids Academy. A key challenge of the project was marrying the clients brief for a vibrant and stimulating learning environment with the desire to keep a rural aesthetic that does not adversely impact the immediate surroundings. The resulting designs were praised for their playful interpretation of the brief as well as for the respect for the natural setting in which the site gains its high quality.
